Applications are invited in prescribed format for appointment in MES for the posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC) and Storekeeper Grade –II, from Indian Citizens as declared eligible by the Govt. of India, Ministry of Defence:-
- Lower Division Clerk (LDC )—No. of vacancies-35 ( Gen-18, SC-05, ST-03 & OBC-09 )
- Storekeeper Grade- II : No. of vacancies—02 ( Gen.- 01 & OBC- 01 )
- Pay Scale :- Rs. 5200/- to Rs.20200/- +Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- for both the Posts.
- Age as on 16.12.2011 : 18 to 27 years for Gen. Candidates. Relaxation in upper age for reserved categories as per Govt. rules.
- Ex-serviceman: Maximum 10% of vacancies are horizontally reserved for Ex-serviceman. Ex-serviceman selected for appointment will be placed against the respective category of vacancy as applicable and to which he belongs
- Physically handicapped :Maximum 3% of vacancies are horizontally reserved for physically handicapped. Physically handicapped selected for appointment will be placed against the category of vacancy as applicable and to which he belongs.
- Minimum Qualification : (i)LDC:-12TH Class pass or equivalent qualification. (ii) Storekeeper Grade-II :- 10th class pass or equivalent qualification.,
