Application are being invited by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) for the recruitment of RA and LA or Field Assistant Posts from intelligent and result oriented professional candidates on contract basis for a period of three years. Applicants having Doctorate Degree for the recruitment of RA post from any Government recognized Institution or University and Intermediate pass certificate for the recruitment of LA or Field Assistant post from any recognized Board are eligible for this recruitment. Project Name: – Functional Characterization of an endosperm Specific Pfomoter P1028 from common buckwheat and transfer of Bwleg1 gene coding for the buckwheat 26KDa lysine rich seed storage Protein to rice for nutritional enhancement of its grains Proteins.
Salary: – Salary will be fixed amount Rs. 22000/- with HRA Per Month.
Academic Qualification: – Applicants must have Doctorate Degree in any branch of Life Sciences from any recognized Institution or University with first division marks.

Project Name: – Exploring the Global Changes in Transcriptome and Proteome in Transgenic B. Juncea Plants with Altered Expression of Genes Involved in Osmosensing (BJHK1) and Ion Homeostasis (BJSOS2).
Salary: – Consolidated amount Rs. 8000/- with HRA Per Month.
Educational Qualification: – Applicants should have completed 10+2 from any Government recognized Board with good academic record and Basic Knowledge of Operating Computer and Typing is essential.
Job Tenure: – Contract for a Period of three years till 2010 to 2013.
